Research Desk
Ask research questions, explore discussions and learn from problems other researchers are working through — across methodology, data, writing, publication, fieldwork and the wider research process.
A research community for students, scholars, faculty and independent researchers — a place to ask questions, solve problems, find practical resources and learn alongside other researchers.
A place for the questions that don't fit neatly inside a textbook, course or methodology chapter.
Sometimes the problem is choosing a method. Sometimes it is understanding your data. Sometimes it is a paragraph that refuses to work, a supervisor's comment you don't understand, or simply not knowing what to do next.
Researcher's Club gives those moments somewhere to go. Instead of searching alone, members can ask, discuss, learn and work through research problems as part of an ongoing community.
Each part of the Club is designed around a different kind of support researchers repeatedly need.
Ask research questions, explore discussions and learn from problems other researchers are working through — across methodology, data, writing, publication, fieldwork and the wider research process.
Regular live sessions built around actual problems submitted by Club members. Rather than another lecture, the research problem itself becomes the lesson.
A growing collection of templates, frameworks, checklists, guides and practical research resources designed to be used — not merely downloaded.
A monthly live conversation with Prof. P. C. Pattanaik around selected member questions, research challenges and larger issues in academic and research practice.
Members submit questions, problems and issues they would like discussed. Selected questions become the starting point for a live session with Prof. P. C. Pattanaik — drawing on decades of academic teaching, supervision, research and field experience.
Researcher's Club is beginning with a founding community. Early members won't simply use the Club — their questions, participation and feedback will help us understand what the community should become.
No membership fee at launch. Future membership plans may be introduced as the Club develops.
